💡 About the Seminar
How can we move beyond deficit views and better support Dual Language Learners (DLLs) in early childhood education?
Drawing on U.S. research, this seminar explores common myths about bilingualism, the cognitive and academic benefits of bilingual development, and the challenges DLLs face in English-dominant classrooms. It also highlights differences between Hong Kong and U.S. educational contexts and their implications for inclusive, evidence-informed practices.
